Group 3's match ended with Homura blowing up her rivals with such ferocity that the deficit chart has become nearly meaningless for comparisons between groups. The landslide is all the more impressive when you consider that Ika and Biribiri are both likely to make the finals. All of the top 6 in group 3 had more votes than the winners of the previous groups, but even Ika Musume and Biribiri had weak percentage and deficit scores.
Since hope and despair must be balanced, Elsa Maria (the shadow witch) and Class Representative Witch (Patricia is in round 12 as well, so some sort of error was made) were eliminated from the tournament today.
Biribiri turned in a disappointing performance despite being the strongest-positioned returning veteran. With Yui-nyan of Angel Beats failing, Biribiri losing to two newcomers, and K-ON being returning champions, it seems like the veterans have no chance at the title this year.
